Katherine Heigl has revealed her childhood in a white bubble and how this realization affected the way she raised her adopted multiracial children. In an interview, the "Firefly Lane" actress, along with "Grey's Anatomy", actress revealed that her appearance didn't concern her. But after talking to her adoptive sister in South Korea about how society had treated them, she was aware of the stark differences the two were. If I inquired of Meg about how she was treated while out in public, either with or without our parents, the treatment was very different. She replied, "Oh yeah, always!" Heigl talked to parents about how she realized her naivet . She said that she was angry, but she felt the need to use this anger to help her children. Heigl has a four year old son who is married to her 13 year old wife, Josh Kelley. They have adopted Nancy Leigh from South Korea aged 12 years old in 2009. followed by Adalaide whom was eight years old old and is Black as of 2012.
