Thunberg's energizing actions started in August of 2018. She remained in the Swedish parliament, boycotted class and sat on a banner which read "School Strike For Climate". The goal of her protest was to convince politicians to do something about global warming. Swedish media caught Thunbergs strike and news about her strike went out. Afterward the strike, thousands of students joined the #FridaysforFuture movement. They stayed home on Friday to demonstrate against the effects of climate change. Climate activists from all over the planet coordinated their efforts to organize the Global Strike for Climate. The Global Strike for Climate was an incredible achievement. Over 1.6 millions people took part from 125 different countries.

Nia Peeples, who was born Virenia Gawendolyn Peeples, born in America, is a singer and actress. She is famous for her character of Pam Fields (in the drama Pretty Little Liars) and Nicole Chapman (on the show Fame).
